In addition to the horror of Section 13 .....14/15 basically layout you cannot hold them liable for anything and you cannot be part of any class action suit or any other suit outside their kangaroo court/small claims. You also agree to not hold them or employees liable if I am reading that correct.
I will not comply or fund their abomination of a Corporation. I cut the cord about 10 years ago.
Now I just buy old DVDs of 1980's movies. You know, back when movies were still fun. Plus! The best comedies came out in the 80's.
Are there even comedies anymore? Can't remember seeing any new ones in years. Nothing's funny anymore when commies are sabotaging your life and your country.........
I really feel attention needs to be drawn on how quick people are to " check the box" an blindly agree to what they are not only agreeing to but LEGALLY giving up their freedoms and protections.
I think people become complacent after awhile. When every single thing we do has 20 pages of EULA to read, whether its a phone, or a Microsoft product, or website, or an app, or a service, or whatever, people just assume it's templated and it's "The same as all the others".
I think they know this about people, and use that complacency to their advantage.
Doesn't that just mean the communications involving THEM? Not every single communication you make?
Or is there the assumption that simply using their service is communication between you and them, therefore allowing them access to everything you do/say/write.
I understood it to mean they could listen in , record, or access whenever they want for whatever they want. Read the clause again and tell me where it is SPECIFIC to only their conversations with you.
'...we (and our agents) may monitor and record any telephone calls or other communications, regardless of medium (1) between us (and our agents) and you or your agents, or (2) between us (and our agents) and any user of your Services or Customer Equipment, or any phone number associated with your account.'
Same here, although it was more recent that 15 years.
Best thing that my husband and I ever did. Nixing the hours of watching woke sports and other garbage has given us our lives back. We've gotten so much more out of life. Completed many home projects and now we pursue our hobbies (sewing, quilting and woodworking) with time to spare.
This isn't about them sp-eyeing on you when you watch selected times ....user is giving them permission to access any device you own for any reason ...anytime...and it is contractual and it may not be terminatable after you cancel your services with them.
Also, their "right" to access your home does not state anything about you being present for them to do that either.

At least they didn't say they can monitor calls between you and anyone else besides them.
