funny you say that. In the school I work in normally (helping other schools during summer break), there was a display near the K room that aquated masks to underwater...with children's underwater hung up on it.
It made me rather disturbed when I first saw it. Still creeps me out.
It’s been over a year and these people who wore a mask non-stop are now wearing it like it’s clothing.
That’s probably why making your own masks was encouraged even though there was no science behind it.

Take it down. It's training the kiddos that wearing a mask is beneficial, even under water.
