It's probably because the link ends in .kjv - when an internet browser ends with a file extension, like pdf or mp3 or JPEG, it's meaning for the browser to download that file. So Facebook is just keeping a link that starts a download in a weird file extension (used for Bible.com's specific software?) Whereas linking their home page is fine. If you visit like biblegateway.com and select your translation and verse you could still post whatever same verse or any verse cuz it's linking to a web page and not a .kjv download. ?
The ".kjv" is not referring to a download. It just means that the verse is from the King James Version.
