It's already here. Between the farm "subsidies," and the shipping "problem," things will get real interesting here in about another 2 weeks. Talk to anyone in shipping/logistics or who manages a store of any size, and they'll tell you about these shortages and shipping "issues."
Also, I talked with a local farmer near me recently. He's been offered 130% over what his usual crop selling price is to destroy his crops and cattle. He hasn't taken it yet, as he sells mainly to local stores so doesn't have the issue of rotting crops or "old" cattle yet, but admitted that it was extremely hard to sell it all, mainly due to the shipping/logistics "shortages." Finding drivers to transport his loads has been the biggest issue for him.
I suspect that with COVID and the lockdowns and "stimulus" payments, there were drivers that decided to take this time to take a break from the road. That's when the backlogs started. And now with rising fuel costs, a lot of independent single truck owners have been forced out causing a driver "shortage." ALL of the trucking companies are hiring, but no one wants to be out on the road for 5 or more days a week, especially the drivers with families. Especially since they now have to prove to various State run DOT's that they've been "vaxxed" for interstate commerce travel.
Remember, FL is one of the largest food producers in the country, second in cattle only to TX. We produce a lot of construction materials, Defense hardware and munitions, paper products, plants, fuel/natural gas, etc. And now there's States like MI, CA, NY, NJ CT that are saying Floridians can't travel to those States without being "vaxxed." When you keep a State like FL from being able to deliver it's goods, shortages are bound to pop up.
None of the current shortages are natural. It's all planned to starve us out eventually. [they] know [they] can't keep us in line any other way now. I also expect another round of "COVID" "stimulus" checks to go out soon, with the catch being that if you want the money, you'll need to show proof of "vaccination." Then, [they]'ll have even more info on the People and know exactly who is "vaxxed" and who isn't. It'll make the roundups and shipments to these FEMA "camps" a lot easier for [them] to figure out.
Then, once the bread lines start, it'll be that much easier for [them] to starve out the "undesirables" like us. This is now the easiest and possibly the only way for [them] to keep the population in line.

Underrated comment.
