Hahahaha
And everything else here...
Amazon prime members aren’t helping ... yeah I’m talk to all of you.
Most of their crap is designed to fail, so that, you can go back and buy the same thing again over and over. Not dumb.
Everything's like that now. Doesn't matter if it comes from China or some other Asian sweatshop. It's called, "Planned Obsolescence."
This is the truth. Had a Kenmore dishwasher bought in 2002, lasted 12 years, no issues until it finally failed.
Replaced it with a Samsung, got stainless steel model for longevity (we thought), turns out, the area where the control panel is located is not sealed from the steam and the circuit board contacts all got rusted and it failed, just after 1 year warranty of course, paid for a new board, did the same thing and again, not under warranty.
Said fuck it and sold it for scrap, bought what I thought would be better, Maytag the Cadillac of dishwashers right?
Wrong. this one did the same thing, only sooner, and was repaired under warranty this time, Worked again for a while, same thing, replaced AGAIN, same thing. Found out that Maytag was bought out and they are made in China too.
I can't really talk about what happened after that due to legal matters, but the situation was resolved.
Went ahead and bought a Bosch (German made) and its been all good since then.
Beware of Samsung and Maytag appliances.
Bosch and Miele. The Cadillac isn't so great, so you need to buy the BMW and Mercedes of appliances to get one that cleans and lasts...
Still using a Kenmore dryer bought in 1986.
WTF
Meant to be funny. Nothing more
We'll, it's true AND funny.
Fishing gear has really disappointed me recently. Had to upgrade some gear this year and I have no choice but to purchase China labeled items. I buy from a local privately owned business and 98% of his store, rod and reels, are made in China, and there’s nothing he can do about it. At least his jigs and jig heads are self/homemade locally. It’s sad. I imagine everything made in China, had Made in USA labels...man, a person can dream right?
Wait, why can't he do anything about it? He has internet, right? There plenty of "Made in U.S.A." fishing gear manufacturers that would LOVE to have his patronage.
Was gonna say same thing. Dudes lying, lazy, or both. Probably both since he can get Chinese crap on the cheap in bulk and sell at a premium.
I don’t know, he just said it’s very hard to find USA made brands. Might can get another country, just not American. Maybe it’s the resell value or distributor? I do know, I’m not in retail business. But most of his jigs and lures are locally made, USA for sure. He doesn’t sell Walmart stuff.
Just one of many links that came up for "American made Fishing Gear" in basic google search: American Made <--click
I'll have to stick to my original comments. I dont go fishing anymore (though I'd like to) so not caught up on fishing gear in general, but this single site took all of 5 seconds to type in and find amongst many other "USA made" gear links.
I dunno either. Maybe give him the link. Possible he doesn't know, though as it's his profession to know, he should know, but you never know, ya know? haha
Yea nothing on that site sells around here in Tennessee. Mostly Crappie, Bass, and Cat fishers around here. Saw one reel that might work. The rest where for fly fishing. But like ya said, there may be more out there he’s not willing to track down. Or there isn’t, idk.
made in China, Broken in America
Yeah, use your big brain dum dum. This was meant to be funny. Looks like you didn't get one.
