Planet literally means wandering star, as seen from earth against the background of “fixed stars”. Astronomy of old (Ptolemaic) viewed earth as a stationary platform with moon sun planets and stars whizzing by.
When God first made the earth there was neither land or sea on it.
How so?
We know this planet as earth.
