Like I said... part of the problem. You're right I didn't offer a solution because I can't force you to wake up and realize what you're doing and how wrong your thinking is. You are like everyone has been for two hundred years handing power to bureaucrats. The solutions should be obvious... simple things like extend the time to something more reasonable say 90 days.
Instead your solution is to allow lawyers and politicians to set arbitrary guidelines and if a citizen falls outside of those guidelines they are stripped of their rights... rules are rules. So sense that applies to my voting rights too then does that apply to the 1st amendment and 2nd amendment too. If I don't re-register my gun every year or two does that right just expire as well because some rule says so???
I'm not trying to solve a problem or offer a solution because that is easy to do by anyone with half a brain that actually values peoples right to vote. I'm trying to wake you up and make you realize you are carelessly throwing away the right to vote like its nothing.
The worst part of all is you aren't just giving the government power over you... you are stripping yourself of the ability to have any power over the government. Its the one thing we do that truly has real sway over them is vote and you just toss it aside like some rule is more important than that power.
I'll say again that I understand rules are important, but at what point are you going backwards and defeating the whole purpose of the rule to begin with? Don't bother answering. You just think on it.
We need to fix voting to eliminate fraud... doing so by stripping people of the right to vote isn't the right way to do that. So proceed with caution... please.
Also, having basic requirements is not 'stripping people the right to vote' or going backward, it's a basic set of rule to keep people from gaming the system.
Sorry, if you can't meet them, then you're probably too dumb to vote anyways.
You provided nothing. Just long rants of emotional bullshit that disconnected from logic.
I'm a citizen. I have a right to vote. Even stupid people have that right. You really believe a bureaucratic rule should prevent me from voting once? You REALLY believe that? Not twice... not in five places etc... Some arbitrary time limit that I missed by 10 or 15 days invalidates my right to have a voice in who represents me?
If you do then you need to seek professional help.
I didn't say no ID. Did you even read the article? It was talking about 50k people that moved from one county to another within the state. But they didn't submit the right paperwork within 30 days.
Some people are busy with things like ACTUALLY MOVING. They just lost their job. They just got evicted. They had to work double shifts at two part time jobs to get enough money to actually move. They move... then its like shit there is an election, I totally forgot all about it. They have the form from their old address so they just apply for a ballot. BUT ITS PAST 30 days... so they only fill out that one ballot from their old address they just left 50 days ago and your saying that because they broke that arbitrary 30 day rule they have their right to vote just taken away. Its "illegal" or "illegitimate". They get no say? That's insane.

The fuck are you talking about?
We're talking about filling a change of address 30 days before an election to ensure only the correct people can vote in the election.
What the fuck do you want? No id? Wide open voting? Come on it!! Vote for my mayor!! You don't live here, but vote anyways!!
The fuck.is wrong with you.

Fuck off man, you're a god damn moron.
So the government is more important than freedom and fair representation. Got it.
