I agree that there's a difference, but the other side sees it the same way you do. That voter ID laws are racist, because they're told to, and are cheering this on as a win.
Their jobs are to write laws and vote for or against; not to leave to delay it while their assassins figure out a way to threaten or effect the change needed by the time they come back.
Republicans fled Oregon to avoid bad legislation and I cheered.
A dereliction of duty is a dereliction of duty.
They failed their job just as these Dem whores are failing theirs.
Again, leaving was never meant to be used to hold the passage of laws hostage if you don't get your way.

The voters in their districts should be visited door to door and asked if their lawmaker is properly representing them in this issue.
The registered voters should decide.
