What triggered your personal awakening? When did yours happen? This is what is leading to the GREAT awakening.
Mine personally began in early 2010s being a curious person and digging around. The final straw that broke the camels back was the elections of 2016. That is what solidified these truths as big media and big government began their 4 year, relentless attacks. 2019 was the final nail in the coffin, the beginning of agenda 21...
Reading the New Testament in high school (1980s) and realizing it was a tool for control. I was raised Catholic, but always questioned the truth of it, especially being in the LA Archdiocese and knowing friends who were molested by priests. What an evil crock of shit the Roman Catholic Church has turned out to be.
Reading Orwell's '1984' (again in high school) and having my mind blown.
Hearing George H.W. Bush say the phrase "New World Order" live on TV and thinking then and there, "this can't be good."
The Archdiocese of Los Angeles in the 1970s and 1980s had “us” students read from both the New and Old Testaments, it wasn’t until I read the New Testement for a college prep course in High School (I was 16 at the time) that I had a revelation of how the Bible was used as a mechanism of power and control. I don’t need to reread any bible to know we are all slaves. I hope the truth comes out and whatever “true” version of the Bible that is locked up in a vault in the Vatican can one day be revealed to the world.
I do believe, I do have faith, I just don’t trust what I’ve been told by those who have told it.
All religions or ideals can be tools for control. The standout about the New Testament in particular (I fucking hate that phrase, it's all one book) are the teachings of Christ. There is not one thing in there that if you devote your life to it that will bring harm to you or anyone. Until someone can articulate why the teachings of Christ are bad, and I mean what Christ said specifically, not someone else's interpretation or perversion, I will continue to have faith. No the Bible is not perfect. I think Book of Eli says it best, "It's beat up, but it will do the job."
