I always thought highly of St. Jude's Children's Hospital but that will change if they follow through with this crazy vaccine mandate. In essence, they are ignoring the needs of the children. The population least likely to catch Covid are kids. And for those that want to trust science, how can they ignore the increasing numbers of Covid among those vaccinated? Who is responsible for this vaccine mandate at St. Jude? Is it the doctors or the administrators? Something is wrong with those that perpetrate this vaccine fraud. Now their wokeness is interfering with good judgement. This mandate is unnecessary and until it is reversed, the children will be most affected, not by Covid but by serious stupidity. https://www.wmcactionnews5.com/2021/07/15/st-jude-childrens-research-hospital-requiring-employee-vaccination/

One by one....all of these institutions are going to go broke from being woke. I've donated heavily to St. Jude's in the past, but no more. At the end of the day, I feel sorry for the kids.
Same here. We wanted to make St Jude's Hospital one of our primary donation sites, but cannot due to decisions like this.
So sad. So now employees will shed onto kids terminally ill with suppressed immune systems.
You'd think a research hospital would DO research before mandating an experimental drug.
You may want to tell them something:

St. Jude is NOT what most people think they are. Misconceptions people have about them is that they treat pediatric cancer patients free of charge - absolutely not true - they MAY treat them for free if they have no insurance or medicare coverage. They do not accept all patients, they only accept patients that fall under the guidelines, often very narrow guidelines, for clinical trials that they are currently conducting. There are over 200 hospitals that treat childhood cancers nationally and most of them participate in clinical trials when appropriate. If your child is diagnosed with cancer, they have a much bigger chance of being treated at whichever hospital is closest to where you live then they do being treated at St. Jude. People that want to donate to fund clinical trials that ALL children in the U.S. that are being treated for cancer might be able to participate in, should look into the St. Baldrick's Foundation or The Children's Oncology Group Foundation - both of which also provide funding to St. Jude. They could also contact their LOCAL hospital that has a pediatric cancer treatment program to see how they can help locally. Sorry for the rant - this is a topic close to my heart - I lost a child to cancer and he was turned down by St. Jude because they were not conducting a clinical trial for his type of cancer when we applied with them after he went out of remission.
Good information. Any charity that can afford a huge marketing campaign seems suspect to me.
I suspect that you mean "accept" but that you are suffering from dyslexia or brain fuge.
Don’t be a dick. If you read the post passed the grammar you would see the pain behind the words. Grammar nazis are not welcome
Thanks - I edited the posting (sometimes that does not take correctly, however) - On that note, it's telling that the most important comment you could think of in response to my post was the need to correct my grammar and tossing in an insult to boot. You're an awesome person.
Never giving to St. Judes again. They are promoting something which may cause cancer, we just don’t know.
How unfortunate. StJudes has been one of the top charities my family gives to since learning about the Trumps support for the organization, particularly Eric. Will be shutting the money off to them now.
got a Children's hospital over in Nashville and also in Indianapolis , Ind
If we're taking about healthy kids in school then you're right it's stupid and evil. You're talking about cancer patients that are children going through chemo or other experimental clinical trials that also compromise their immune system. Not saying the mandate would actually save any lives but let's keep our talking points consistent with reality. Don't let your monkey brain go kids = unkillable by Wu flu when the kids being discussed are far from healthy and unable to fight off infections naturally.
I think you're right.
