Screw that..I want the REAL 1984 back...now where did I put my parachute pants?
The bigger question is...will you still fit in them?
If I am having problems fitting into Pre-CV pants from 2019, I sure as hell am not fitting into pants from 1984.
Haha. I've lost 20 pounds since the start of COVID. Of course, it took a health scare to initiate that...thankfully, I never owned parachute pants. I was denim and leather.
I have to wear stretch or sweat pants; even on a good day, due to a hip condition, getting the right pair of jeans is rough. Has been all my life.
Denim just feels uncomfortable, heavy and constricting which I hear is not the case for properly fitting jeans -- maybe one day a surgical procedure will help, though I don't know if I want to get one with all these anti-white doctors and nurses.
And my track suit! Which apparently I felt was acceptable for just about any occasion, including church.
You must be from NJ ; )
LOL, yeah.
Actually, yes. I didn't wear those track suits for no reason.
lol, wow I forgot about parachute pants. Damn, I miss the 80s.
I was ripping around town on a Santa Cruz skateboard wearing a pair of Vans and a swatch watch lol. The 80's ruled.
Digging through stored boxes I found my Swatch Watch from 1984... sold it on eBay for WAY more than I paid for it. Fun Memories π
I was doing the same thing in Stonewall Oklahoma..population 300. haha
Video games were Ms. Pac-Man, Joust, Donkey King, Centipede, Tron.
Roller skating.
My mom had a Michael Jackson jacket and shoes, though I was too young to understand until later.
I loved Dig Dug...man we were easy to entertain.
Reptilians after us.
Centipede is great fun. But I was an Asteroids Deluxe head.
Parachute pants? Yuck. In 1984 (sophomore at Univ. of Michigan) I wore Levis, Levis jacket collar turned up, cowboy boots and mullet. And we all wore polo cologne. And every single person I knew voted for Reagan. At parties we would discuss the death of the Democrat Party and how our generation was so staunchly conservative.
A mullet LOL
Hah, great comment - had me two pair of those bad boys! :)
