I personally don't know how I feel about Grenell. On one hand, he actually does seem to know what he's doing. On the other, I really don't like the idea of a gay president or vice president. You can't really normalize and force acceptance of something more than if you give the highest or second highest seat in the land to someone whose gay. I suppose I wouldn't mind him going back to being an ambassador or some other cabinet position, but I don't think I could support him for president or vice president for moral reasons.

And I know I'm not alone. A lot of religious people, myself included, would probably just not vote in this case since the alternative would be even worse. It would basically be like that time Teddy Roosevelt split the republican vote and caused the democrat to win via a plurality, so I don't think there's anything like that going on.
