Cool. Yeah I knew the Warnings were there but they all say that stuff. I just recommended it to family and you know the routine. Then noticed TSupply made a pdf pointing out the Warnings. I assumed for legalese.
Lawyers covering the liability problem. Too many people have already used the horse product without any problems for that to dissuade anyone who wants to use it, but now none can say they weren't warned.
When I used to work with animals, I would get tubes of something called Collasate every time I would get a cut or a scratch. That stuff is amazing! Wounds would heal 3 times faster than if I had used neosporin alone. Just an aside, my point being that vet medicine can be used by humans in a lot of cases.
Oh definitely. I take fenbendazole as a post-cancer prophylaxis. It was part of my cure & now use as a peace of mind (on occasion ie maintenance). Yeah I asked about the Ivermectin here cuz I went to help a family member and they REACTED. Typical.
The full tubes of paste ivermectin for horses treat a 1200# horse, hence the need to callibrate your own dose. Do not use paste wormers that are ivermectin mixed with anything else! Tubes called zemecterin are ivermectin. Durvet is the brand I use for my horses. And would use for myself.
need to be careful and know EXACTLY what you are buying. Some animal meds are compounded with other drugs to treat multiple animal ailments. Just make sure that the meds you buy are not compounded with anything. Then just dose per body mass as instructed.
This week learned something from an internist. Ivermectin will affect liver enzymes and so do some common human drugs, such as statins and lisinopril. If taking several drugs regularly this additive burden should be considered.
It's literally just saying "not for human use" like all vet pharmaceuticals...even if it is the exact same. Just adjust dosing.

They didn't say it DOESN'T WORK ON HUMANS. Just added a caveat.

Iβm up on it. TY for reference Iβll fwd to family member who wouldnβt listen to me.
For the same reason you wouldn't swallow a golf ball sized vitamin supplement; the horse-sized dosage would make you sick.
