Again, only my opinion, but I don't think that's true. The best, most viral memes are simple, with few if any words.

One of the reasons the left can't meme is they make large text walls and try to call them memes. Compare that to, say, distracted boyfriend, or hell, if you wanna really go old school, trollface.
