I was listening to the radio this morning on my way to work. The host were glorifying her and claiming she is brave for making this choice. They stated it takes guts to quit on your country...
Absolutely blows my mind. The point that a few made in the comments is that she has done this for years and is just now quitting? Even one of the radio host said that and the other two jumped on him.
That same host made a reference to an Olympic gymnast who finished her routine with a broken leg. The other cucked host said "eMoTioNal pAiN iS nOt tHe sAmE aS pHySicAl!!!"
Then they go on to start blaming social media and how the country puts to much pressure on her. Geez, it is almost like the Olympics is the highest level of competition or something...
Absolutely sad to see how soft this country is at times.
Maybe the vaccine has left her unable to compete.

She did say that she hadn't felt like herself for a number of days. That could be telling.
Another black eye for Team USA, making quitting a virtue under the guise of "mental health". She's been to the games before, she's had 4 years to prepare physically AND mentally, only for her to throw in the towel at the last minute because of "stress"? She was on the sidelines cheering, not in a hospital xanax-ed up for goodness sake. This is the definition of weaksauce.
Compare to Kerri Strug in '96 who had a messed up leg and STILL pulled off the winning vault jump to get gold. That's a champion.
Apparently what she could do at 16 is now too stressful at 24. It sounds like a set-up. Like her handlers planned this for her. Leftists are calling it courageous to give up because it's just too hard.
No wonder they're so miserable. They never test their limits. It doesn't just "happen" for them so they throw in the towel and say "That's impossible".

I'm disappointed and not sure how to take this. Chances are if she competed the team could have won the gold so she let her team down. Interviews later rehashing 'for the team' is BS.
Yet when I saw the event she did participate in, she could have fallen on her neck and died. That would scare the shit out of me. Maybe the 'mental stress' related to that fear.
In any case looks like her career is over.
