I would disagree. It was Billy Gibbons' raw gravely African-American (black) sounding voice pumping the Blues that made everyone stop and pay attention, especially on the early LP's such as Rio Grande Mud and Tres Hombres.
La Grange, one of the greatest tracks ever made...and that voice...brilliant!

We had tickets to see ZZ here in WA state next month, but I gave the tickets to my son as I'm desperately needed in Cali to help my aging (vaxxed) parents. I suppose they'll issue a refund💔
