Glide Path, or Glide Slope (ref item #1 but not expounded-on), is part of ILS (Instrument Landing System) made-up of 2 discreet radio signals. Localizer is left/right steering and Glide Slope is up/down steering corrections for proper approach to landing in aircraft. If 45 is referencing “code” in that phrase IMO he’s referring to “buckle-up we’re coming-in for landing”. Makes more sense to me given plane comms of past.
