If my father led our household, we would’ve been bankrupt long before now. He’s terrible at making decisions and avoids confrontation at all costs. I love the man, and he’s great at leading at work, but not so much at home.
Like I said, there are always exceptions. In general, men are far better leaders than women. I'm talking about all of society, not some random individuals.
I said I didn't want rules. The community itself should be providing peer pressure.
If a few oddballs have to "suffer" by not doing exactly as they please so that we can have a society, so be it. They would suffer a heck of a lot more if society fell apart. Then these "strong independent women" would then be at the mercy of the strongest man around and they would be begging for their evil patriarchy to come save them and restore order.

And I’m arguing that those exceptions shouldn’t suffer because of the rule you want to impose.

You can kindly fuck right off with promoting peer pressure.
