Wrap the mask around a pin cushion. Now get the biggest needle you can find. Start stabbing the mask repeatedly. Enjoy.
Keep in mind though that you will no longer be following CDC guidelines.

If you must wear one, there are fake masks that are made with mesh. You can also get the masks with valves and remove the valve flap, just keep in mind that someone may be able to see through the opening. I would recommend not do poke holes through a surgical mask as the holes can cause the fibers of the material become loose and enter your air waves.
The dirty masks is what got my Brother, it Pneumonia came on really fast and he was struggling so hard to breath he then had a stroke and turned into a nonresponsive blob before he died.
And remove pincushion.
