When we entered the emergency room Last night When I got to the door they told me I had to put on a mask. I told them I had all 16 of my vaccinations, (of course i have not) The lady at the counter made that clear that everybody at the hospital had their vaccinations. I proceeded to ask her if everybody had their vaccinations and I had my vaccination why do I need to wear a mask. To my surprise she said because the fake news is trying to scare everybody into thinking we're all going to die. I decided to ask her one more question what percentage of people coming in with covid 19 have been vaccinated. Again her answer was staggering she told me over 70% Of the new cases. She winked at me again and said It's flu season Trump won. Even the people in California are starting to wake up.

So essentially the Japanese scientists were wasting all of their time, and brains on something that will never see the light of day, very sad
Right, exactly! A cure is always best for sure. It’s still sad to me though, they could’ve developed real cures, only to have it toggled back for greed.
But we only know a little bit of the story, hopefully more and more will come to light with everything going on lately.
I had never heard about this. Not surprising in the least.
What did the drug that only treats it become? What company is this?
Probably can't share, NDAs, etc.
Any chance you could get a hold of them again? Corporate paymasters might not care about cures, but the gen. public might.
And given the rise of crowdfunding, they might be able to get their cure made after all...
What about self interest? Aren't the big dogs in charge interested in finding cures for ailments that they themselves may be or may one day be experiencing?
I was packing boxes to move a few weeks ago, and found an old Newsweek (I don't know why I had it) magazine from I think, 1980, perhaps 1984, with a lead story about a "pharmaceutical-industrial complex" (or something like that). Even back then, there were alarms going up about how the medical industry was being corrupted by the pharmaceutical industry.
Pretty much summarizes the modern "cancer treatment industry".
Had an almost verbatim experience at a pharma company almost 20yrs ago. We were a US based subsidiary of a big German company that you've heard of. Fairly soon after I got hired, I had to interact with our head of Oncology, I think he was #3 guy in the company and a pretty big deal. Just goofing around, I said "Did you find a cure for cancer yet?" He looked at me very seriously and said, "We are not looking for a cure for cancer. There is no money in a cure, we are looking for a TREATMENT." He actually died 3 or 4 years later from (wait for it) cancer. We also developed an extremely promising treatment for heart disease (this was around 2003/2004) and the FDA derailed our human trials saying that the treatment (it was a gene therapy, like the covid "vaccine") was too dangerous for human testing (heart disease kills about 30% of all people on Earth), yet somehow it's a reasonable technology for treating a disease with a 99.7% survival rate.
