I've seen a few posts that have been new info to me today. Those particular posts had comments about it being old news. Berating the poster. Basically trying to make the OP look or feel stupid. Just because you know info doesn't mean everyone else does. Posts move along quickly and are easily missed. I'm on here several times a day and i miss tons of posts. Sure, if it's incorrect lets fix that, hell that can even be done politely. If you know, don't be an ass, just move on.
Perhaps this is the new liberal shill tactic! Make posters feel stupid so they fear posting again. Seems like a libtard thing to do. Damn we need more golden rule in the world!
I'll step off my soap box now. Cue libtard attacks....
Good points. Also, the internet in general has become a place where armchair warriors feel tough when they talk down to others. I imagine it temporarily makes them feel superior.
I was just saying this to my daughter. It's so easy to lash out and be rotten to people behind a screen. I guarantee you most of those people would never say that to someone's face. Remember the good old days when you could smack the shit out of someone for saying half the crap most of the leftards on twitter say to each other? Back then people were more polite - because they knew there were repercussions for running your mouth at someone.
LOL - yes I believe that is akin to "don't let your mouth write checks your ass can't cash." Not anymore. Now these rotten kids let their fingers do the talking and there are no consequences, except for the other kids on the receiving end. That's why my son is not allowed on social media. I'm not on it (except this site but nobody knows who I am here), my husband isn't either, so there's no reason our 11 year old needs to be on facebook or twitter.
Mark Felt would like to have a few words of disagreement about this “anonymity”being a shroud of darkness for degenerates to hide behind. So would everyone at arkancide.com
Can you explain what you mean? Sounds like you’re saying all anons are degenerates?
Not at all! Simply put, people are for the most part anonymous on the internet. Nobody really knows who they are, where they live, etc. That anonymity makes many cellar dweller Soy Boys run their mouth without fear of reprisal. Being hidden as such allows them to let their alligator mouths overload their hummingbird butts.
The word anonymous was around LONG before Q and the Anons.
But I am a Deplorable! I war that title with pride
Definitely, but there's more to it. Here's how I've seen it explained. Maybe part of it is some people who go through life getting bullied, shut down, spit on and shit on,...maybe they're physically awkward, not strong or good at fighting, so IRL they have to just take it, but with the internet, poof! Magically they can release the pressure valve without placing themselves in physical danger. They can finally make their stand and have their voice heard. Their inner fighter never died, it just lay dormant, and now it comes out with a vengeance, ready to behead the first person who challenges them. I think maybe in a few decades people will get it out of their system, and civility will win the day. Hopefully!
Well stated. You hit the nail on the head.
It is even more than that. Before the internet, you were allowed to speak your mind in person because most people didn't usually physically fight over opinion. If they did it wasn't to the death like most attempt these days, and after, nobody got canceled for their opinion.
2 wrongs don't make a right!
Yes and I didn't say it was right, or wrong
