That’s awesome! Mine wanted to buy another one, but for some reason he held off, maybe changing his mind on which one he wants, lol.
My husband is also LE, he retired from one LE agency and joined another, lol. He just couldn’t stay away. It’s in his blood I guess, he is also a retired Veteran. Let’s just say he knows very well how to handle firearms, matter of fact he’s been an instructor. He won’t take the vaxx no matter what they say, he will quit first. He’s also a purple belt in Jiu Jitsu (as is our son). Our son just got out of LE to work in a totally different field, and was active duty Army, now in NG, worry about if the military mandates the vaxx. He says they haven’t bothered them about it, so I hope that continues. Though he gets sick every time they make him take the flu vaxx, I told him not to take it this year.
That's too funny, mine was the firearms instructor for his department for years! Lol. He never served in the army though. When he was in his late twenties, he crashed a trooper's wedding & they beat his ass. So he figured if you can't beat them, join them; to make a difference. He's eligible for retirement but is staying out the year. I hope when he is done, he is done. He is also a concrete mason, so he will have work to keep him busy. He and I are not taking the fake vaccine either. I really hope this gets figured out before it turns ugly.
I'm glad he has something to do when he retires, or else he will feel the itch to get back into it in one fashion or another.
Yeah I hope it gets figured out soon also.
When my husband retired I guess he thought he was done with it, but felt like his experience was going to waste sitting around the house, and he's always been active. He wanted to make a difference in the community, so went back into it with local agency, more hands on in the community. He doesn't really have skills outside of LE & military. We had thought of opening up a shooting range when he first retired, but finding land away from neighborhoods in county and the more he thought of things that had to be done (like environmental stuff because of the bullets & shells), he changed his mind. He was going to do weapons training, even thought of setting up scenarios, so law enforcement agencies & military could train. I keep telling him he can still do the weapons training, but without our own range not much he can do. Because some of the other ranges already have classes set up & don't know if they would take kindly to him using their ranges to do his own training all the time. So started a t-shirt printing business, that never got off the ground (different things happened at same time), but still have all the equipment (printer, heat press & accessories, some shirts, bags, koozies). I dabble in graphics a bit but I'm not good at making my own from scratch stuff, I usually get free graphics or buy them and change them up with other graphics, add text. I'm working on a Q graphic, but takes time, because nothing ever seems good enough, lol.
