I don't know much about Him, but he strikes me as an eccentric hippie genius. I'm gen X, and I would peg him as someone who followed the Grateful Dead. No insult intended.
Once in a while you can get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right!
I'm a conservative GD fan. It helps to relax. Know that whatever happens we're just some carbon and water molecules on an infinitesimally small speck of dust spinning in an infinite universe.
Yeah, I'm not saying go back to sleep. I wanted to clarify that. I'm just saying its important not to let them drag you down into the muck. The negative vibration, overly emotional shit is their playing field. Try to mentally and spiritually tune yourself up before and after engaging. Religion helps. Good positive music. Comfort food. Exercise. Fresh air. See the natural world around you. Think about the trillions of simultaneously occurring chemical and physical interactions going on around you every hour of every day. Ants foraging for food. Bees collecting pollen on wildflowers. Plants photosynthesizing. Dew collecting on every blade of grass before the sun comes up and evaporating into the atmosphere in the warmth of morning.
And what a long, strange trip it has been!
Stop listening to that shit music.
Getting downvoted for having a "wrong" opinion. Just like reddit.
Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
The only shit music is modern hip hop and pop, shit like WAP and shit
Surprised not many Radiohead fans here! Radiohead embodies a lot of what's said on these boards.
Grateful Dead were useful tools in the social engineering of the 60s "revolution". Y'all need to read Dave McGownan's work on the hippie movement.
Plus they inaugurated the hippie jam band genre, which is just god awful noodling from wanna be jazz musicians who are anything but.
Bro, I was a jazz performance major before I realized there's no money to be made. I can name at least 200 musicians more influential than GD.
I once heard someone decry, “I don’t understand Jazz Music! Just play the right notes!” 🤣🤣🤣
