If all this shit is actually really going to happen, this makes a lot of sense.
The liberals would have to be, literally, brain dead to think they even have a chance at this next election.
Trudeau was named by Q direct. WE ALL know ( us Canadians ) that Trudeau is fucking owned by China. Have a little gander into the Chinese folks who were 'removed' from a lab in Winnipeg, conveniently, not long before Covid came to town. We have a huge Chinese army in Canada "training". We are all fully aware of how Trudeau loves the CCP.
No coincidences - our equal to Dr. Fauci here, is a transgender Chinese Nationalist.
If all this shit is actually really going to happen, calling for a election, knowing damn well you're going to lose, so you can 'retire' ( get hung like the whore's drawers @ Gitmo ) from politics makes total sense.
btw :) I've been saying for at least a month Trudope's calling an election. Someone posted about Trudope freezing elections, and I said we've been getting pamphlets for our local FEDERAL MP's since April in New Brunswick = only means one thing.
Who doesn't have half the seats? Does this mean half the seats are currently not filled or half the seats are currently not owned by a certain political party?
There are 3 main parties in Canada and one minor one (green). His party does not have a majority, so Trudeau has to team up with other parties to get anything passed into law. It is a great check on power. Unfortunately if he gets a majority of the seats he can just shove whatever he wants through.
Sorry perhaps I should clarify. The system is shit and needs to be taken down, but.... compared to Mr. T having a majority, the minority he has right now is a check on his power.
Wait he's trying to move an election up 2 years because he didn't like the outcome? It sounds like he's just a few steps away from installing himself as dictator unless I'm misunderstanding?
In Canada the parliament can call an election at any time. He thinks that right now the conditions are favorable for him (they're going to rig it lol, calling it) to win a majority parliament, so he's calling an election right now. An election can also be called by the opposition through a vote of no confidence. As much as I despise Trudeau, pretty much every side has done this at some point.
Normally I would say this isn't good since Trudeau will probably get a majority of seats and can do whatever he wants (like the Democrats in Congress having control). However, all our political parties are cucked and the result will be the same. We don't have the luxury in Canada of having good Republican politicians (i.e. Conservative), at least in a major party. And I believe our elections are fraudulent as well. Dominion is headquartered in Toronto. I still have great faith that Q and team will come through for us (i.e. "the world will follow"). There's no way they can clean up the Deep State in the US and allow them to re-group just north of the border.
I think it will be a combination of people loving his pandemic policies and conservatives being split on O'Toole. I don't think he would call an election unless he was confident he would do well. However, I know a lot of older normies that really hate him. We'll see what happens.
FROM THE EVIL WIKI.... A snap election is an election that is called earlier than the one that has been scheduled. Generally, a snap election in a parliamentary system (the dissolution of parliament) is called to capitalize on an unusual electoral opportunity or to decide a pressing issue, under circumstances when an election is not required by law or convention. A snap election differs from a recall election in that it is initiated by politicians (usually the head of government or ruling party) rather than voters, and from a by-election in that the winners will serve an entire term as opposed to the remainder of an already established term. Early elections can also be called in certain jurisdictions after a ruling coalition is dissolved if a replacement coalition cannot be formed within a constitutionally set time limit. Since the power to call snap elections (the dissolution of parliament) usually lies with the incumbent, they often result in increased majorities for the party already in power provided they have been called at an advantageous time. However, snap elections can also backfire on the incumbent resulting in a decreased majority or in some cases the opposition winning or gaining power. As a result of the latter cases, there have been occasions in which the consequence has been the implementation of fixed-term elections. Generally speaking, the Prime Minister under such systems does not have the legal power to call an election, but rather must request the election be called by the head of state. In most countries, the head of state almost always grants such a request by convention.
Same thing happened in the UK, Snap election because Boris didn't have enough members of the Conservative Party in Parliament to get through key parts of the Brexit negotiations.
This is Trudeaus attempt to get more of his friends in parliament.
MOST of the "free, democratic" world operates under the parliamentary form of government.
The hallmarks of this system is that the PARLIAMENT, not the people, have the ultimate power and say.
Parliament is elected. They have to form a majority coalition which appoints all of the executive and judicial branch. As long as they have the majority of parliament, things continue. (This is why, by the way, you have so many parties in these types of system. Once elected, even if it is just a few people, they can negotiate their support for power.)
There are 2 events which cause an election:
There has been enough time and change of public opinion that if we were to hold elections the majority would no longer be the majority. At this point, elections are held across the country and new members of parliament are chosen, and it starts over. Obviously, if the majority coalition thinks they would lose, they try to stall this as long as possible, or they wait for an opportune moment when they are more likely to win.
2, The majority is no longer the majority as enough members of parliament leave the majority that they no longer have the right to rule. This can be alleviated by forming a new majority, but typically it is better to proceed with an election.
Parliamentary governments typically do NOT have regular elections. The US is very strange for that reason: we reform our government every 2 years with every major election. They only hold an election when it appears that the people no longer support the majority.
The exact method of calling for an election varies, but in most cases the leader of the majority coalition, the prime minister, is expected to just call for a new election to avoid looking like a jerk.
If you understood more about history, you'd understand why this is the way it is.
Dasting! Trudeau, we have a special place for him!!
I sure hope so! He needs that smirk wiped off his face.

What drop is he named in? Want to see what it says.
I still don't understand.

Then why call an election? They are on similar teams for sure.
Praying for you all
This would move the election up ~2 years so they can still use COVID to cheat into a DS majority.
Oh man, that would not be good for you all... all of our great countries under endless attacks.
Wait he's trying to move an election up 2 years because he didn't like the outcome? It sounds like he's just a few steps away from installing himself as dictator unless I'm misunderstanding?

Liberals have a minority government here

I seriously doubt that he is in line to get a majority.
Last time he really only won Quebec and Toronto area, and if anything he is more hated now.
Then again, I'm seeing far too many people praising the vacc passport for all, who knows anymore.

Note: "head of state" in these systems are typically a rubber-stamp and have no real power and do not ever go against parliament.
Can someone translate this to American. I sprayed tea all over my computer screen.
It means Trudeau is hoping to get a majority so he can do whatever he wants.
Hilarious. Canada does have fixed election laws, but who gives a shit? Now, Captain Blackface needs to loose more seats...
Evil jesuit. I am not the judge, only Jesus. Praise Him!
The Elections here in Canada are compromised. They will cheat again.
