Sounds like a nice idea until you realize they won't let you in the building or let you log into your computer (if remote). How do you get fired if they just lock you out and claim you already left?

Employers are getting around it by not "firing" you but saying you voluntarily resigned when you decided not to agree to a new company policy. It's the same thing but when their argument is you voluntarily left, that makes it a lot harder to fight them. Or to put it another way, you're choosing to forfeit your job by not agreeing to this new vax policy. BS loopholes.

Wait he's trying to move an election up 2 years because he didn't like the outcome? It sounds like he's just a few steps away from installing himself as dictator unless I'm misunderstanding?

I'm also an introvert and I don't even answer unknown numbers half the time on my cell phone unless a) I'm ordering pizza, or b) I'm expecting a spammer and I want to find out what kind so I can report it properly on my cell provider's app. Answering the door? Funny joke.

I have a similar question I need help with - Santa Clara County, CA issued an order the other day requiring all employers to ask and keep records of the vaccine status of all employees, and follow up every 14 days. I don't live in CA but my company is asking this of everyone across the US. The deadline is a week from now, June 1st.

What do I do? Can I just ignore this and not answer it? Do I have any rights? I'm so afraid right now.

You can't - companies ask for proof if you've been vaccinated once you say you have been ;(

Ironically this is the same state that passed one of the most stringent data privacy acts in the country just a few short years ago (CCPA).

Most women aren't aware they're pregnant even at the 5-6 week mark.

What Tweet is he talking about here? I'm searching the archives and can't find anything near that date about a woman in the EU.

Paris Hilton made a documentary several months ago where she addresses this for a portion of it. It's free to watch in it's entirety on Youtube if you're interested in more details -

You should really post this as it's own thread. More people need to see this.

Sounds like they're trying to take a neutral and unbiased tone which is what I'd expect from any real news network. Real news exist to present the information to us, not take sides or editorialize.

He's had the same hairline for decades. Why in his late 70's would he finally decide to do something about it?

Oh what a burn, lmao! Love my President!

I mean even fucking Wikipedia can answer that question -

The independent nation collected taxes on imports ("tariffs"), whiskey, and (for a while) on glass windows. States and localities collected poll taxes on voters and property taxes on land and commercial buildings. In addition, there were the state and federal excise taxes

We didn't pay income taxes until 1913.

The bigger hurdle is convincing people that this is a bad thing. A lot of people don't have negative views of China and really need an education in reality.

Well for one thing Secret Service protect former Presidents for something like 10 years after they leave office.

Sidenote - does anyone know how to turn down the volume on those Telegram videos linked?

Well that certainly makes sense considering people are getting sick with something and it is different. I mean I personally know someone who had it so weakly she almost didn't realize anything was wrong, but here we are 6 months later and she still can't taste or smell, and that I've never seen before.

Well I don't blame them. Wyoming is fucking fantastic. Visit if you haven't.

Also this makes it look like Wyoming has balls which is weird.
