My kid has to do a covid test before school. I know, it’s fucking ridiculous. I made sure he did a spit test. Nothing will be inserted in his body while at school. That said, I managed to steal a swab. I remember a while back seeing a video of someone soaking it in alcohol or something and seeing shit moving. Like wires. Anyone remember that? Or have the clip? I want to test this. I’ll record it too.

Morgellans is a real issue, but you need to decifer the real from the fake information. Cotton fibers will move in alcohol. Any fibers balled up and small enough will. There are many processes going on to make it appear to be moving, but an oversimplification would be: accordion crushing the paper around a straw and then placing some water on it. It grows and wiggles around. Its a neat trick to do at a restaurant.
I remember the video they are inquiring of. The fibers were NOT cotton expanding their compressed dry state. There were nano particles and it was the dark nano particles that were reacting like a worm.
This actually just happens with all cotton. You can use another regular qtip as a control for your test. Its not biological. In fact if you get some lint or frey a cloth to be thin enough (similar to cotton fibers) it will work on that too.
