All the teleconferencing tech has enabled people to connect virtually, no need for in person meetings. I think they will eventually phase humans out to be replaced with AI, maybe you’ll be lucky enough to be an AI overseer. The end goal is the transgumanist agenda. Merging the biological with machine.
