Gotta say...at the risk of down voting...Cameltoe, Killery and Piglosi do not represent even close to "good" let alone great female leadership in America! Just like Obummer did not represent good leadership given he was the first of his race and missed big opportunities due to his personal agenda.
A great woman leader can be POTUS. It just has to be the right leader...regardless of gender.
Well... There sometimes happen strong woman being leaders and politicans. Like Margaret Thatcher, Indra Ghandi, Lakshmibai, Ching Shih (郑氏) Sigrid Storråda (Świętosława, probably she could be daughter of first Polish king Mieszko), Olga of Kiev, Cleopatra. But such list is short as powerful women capable of quite successful leadership are not majority among women indeed.
Like Merkel. She inherited a superbly run nation and did horribly when faced with key crises like the Syrian refugees and Crimea.
I wrote this to show how rare those examples are. And about Cleopatra...
She won with her brother. Seduced most powerful leader of her times - Ceasar. Later did the same with Mark Antonny. Were doing quite independent politics despite her country was weak. And yes technically Actium was "lost",but whole battle plan (already taken by Octavian's spy) was to escape from 2x stronger Octavian fleet - and that was exactly done - however with too big loses, the real reason Mark Antonny and Cleopatra lost were those too big loses and broken morale of soldiers. And this bitch tried to seduce also Octavian too but it not worked this time, and her army was shattered - it was why she committed suicide. Before this she send her (and Ceasar) son to India, unfortunately stupid kid (he was probably 17) believed some traitor and turned back - was captured and killed in the result.
Snake to boob was by the way then preferable alternative to be part of triumph of Octavian. In those times it was better than thing that happened to Vercingetorix after Ceasar won in Gallia. Many Roman senators committed suicides under ceasars too by cutting their veins. As for a women - she was quite competent leader in fact.
That's why I mentioned her.
True, but most of these powerful women had strong men behind them. Look at Elizabeth 1 of England. Yes, a decent monarch, but around here was probably the most talented group of men ever available to a head of state.
Of course, but look - is male manager too less known that his team or takes all the splendor and majority of profit ? Also: good leadership INCLUDES choosing right people for the job. And I not mentioned Elizabet 1st mostly for reasons you mention - in her case it was more job of her lords and other nobles.
Women have never been given the chance to see how they lead. Look at all the fuck up MEN we have had! Obama, Bush 1 and 2, B Clinton, Carter, Nixon! So easy to claim that only men can lead, but look at the shit show in our history! Trump is the only great male leader we have had! I have worked for men and I have worked for women and men just expect others to take care of things while women get involved in the strategy, stay involved in the trenches and get the job done! I have seen nothing ( 30 yrs on the job) but weak men who just want to look good and expect women (like me) to make that happen for them! I will expect downvotes to come from those who know I am right!
You are correct. Qualification does not equal gender or race.
If she were the leader we need, she would be so masculine and tough, it wouldn't be worth it. Just have a man.
