Trump spent a lot of time in Florida during his Presidency, including during crises. Why is it a big deal where the President decides to do his Presidenting?
When this criticism was leveled at Trump for spending time at his golf course during the initial months of COVID, his supporters insisted he was still very much capable of managing the country from there and that he wasn’t necessarily on vacation just because he decided not to work at the White House.
One difference is that Trump was more than capable of managing the country...his location was largely irrelevant, while by comparison, Biden is an incompetent compromised aging criminal politician who couldn't manage his way out of a wet sack, regardless of it's location. It's apples to elephants.
You can argue that he's equally worthless regardless of where he's physically at, and you're correct about that. But optics matter, obviously, so this isn't a good look for him with the public.
He doesn't have to release a guest list of phone calls/visitors at home in Delaware. He goes there to talk to China, Obama, and who ever other cronies are controlling this country in complete privacy. It's like Hilary's private server times 10.
