There's nothing wrong with adults nurturing their inner child. It's incredibly important to not lose your sense of whimsy, your hope, optimism, innocence, or the ability to just play.
I deeply loathe the phrase adulting. People who use it tend to be absolute trainwrecks, and interestingly enough, the most bitter, resentful, and least child like among us..
Absolutely.
My uncle used to joke "Growing up? That's on my bucket list!" but you'd never mistake him for a man child. Yes, he had a mischievous side and knew when to let out his inner child, but his impulses didn't rule him. It seems like a lot of them just can't control their impulses and when they have to try they call that "adulting".
