For the last three days Ive been talking to all of my current and former military brothers in arms that did time in AFG. The only words I can think of to articulate the universal emotions are something close to mild shock, betrayal, and remorse. I dont know if there is a single word for it that exists in our current lexicon.
These folks lost friends, have PTSD for the horrific shit they had to survive, sacrificed by missing significant life events, missed the opportunity to say goodbye to loved ones while deployed, and much much more.
Q said “military is the only way”. When the shock wears off and turns to anger ... i think Pandoras Box is gonna bust wide open. Millions of betrayed and hyper-pissed off Combat Veterans are gonna pour out. Something one told me is seared into my brain: “fuk it, I should have died back there anyway. I have been living in pain and have nightmares, and for what now”. If this happens, Jan 6th is gonna look like a garden party. That WAS NOT an insurrection. This will be. If it happens, u will see the largest, most well armed standing army in the history of man kind manifest overnight. There is no ‘security’ in existence that will save them. No wall that wont be quickly breached. No where they can run, no where they can hide. No bunker will protect them.
This might be the military Q was referring to.
Just my own thoughts from what I have observed.
See, the thing about Vets is, we're used to quickly mobilizing and falling in to a somewhat structured system. It won't be hard for us to fall back into that again. This is the benefit of staying somewhat "disorganized" until the time is right.
I was a 2nd Class Petty Officer, Navy EOD, and before that I was an Aviation Ordnanceman. I know how to do all kinds of stuff with bombs, guns, etc. It won't be hard for me to quickly regain that role when needed. I can safely say that it won't be hard for any Vet to quickly fall back on their training and quickly organize into a well oiled machine. Most will fall back into the roles they played while uniformed. We all understand the nature of the command structure and what's needed of us to maintain that. We don't need "F-15's and Nukes" to take [them] on. What we lack in high tech, we can make on our own with what we have readily available, with the knowledge and experience we've gain d from BOTH the military AND our civilian lives. Give me 24 hrs and the right materials, and I can turn a Cessna or Piper Cub into a ground attack aircraft. Give me the right materials and a while weekend, and I can keep that aricraft armed indefinitely. And there's literally thousands of other just like me. I know a bunch of them personally.
While the public has been crying about firearms and ammo shortages, what do you think Beta like me have been doing this whole time, sitting around pining about "the good ole days" when ammo was plentiful? Nope. We've been making our own. I personally know dozens of guys, and girls, that are sitting on veritable gold mines of self made ammunition of all sizes, calibers, and capabilities. Then there's all these gun ranges that will rent out fully militarized hardware for your enjoyment. Do you really think they will sit back and let us have all the fun?
Does anyone here really think we aren't capable of mobilizing en masse when that time comes?
Shiiiiit, I know tons of Vets with "go bags" already packed. All we're waiting for is the call.
I mean, C'Mon, Man!!!! [they] sold us lies and then trained us when we came calling. [they] will rue the day [they] decided to take us down this path. The only way it doesn't end in bloodshed is if you, The People, you, the "civilians" of the world take it upon themselves (yourselves) to stop it. But they, y'all, better get smart and be quick about it. Because if they/you let this go on too much longer, the Vets will take it upon ourselves to right this sinking ship for you. And it won't be pretty. No holds barred type engagements.
And I'm just sitting back and waiting for that day. Because it will truly be glorious to behold.
Thanks for this!
Organization was my only concern
EXACTLY
Had this exact conversation with a fellow vet last night. He is truly tinfoil hat and thinks NATO is gonna try and take over here. I asked him if he forgot all of the shit he learned as a soldier. Of course not. Same goes for all those Armor guys (tankers), and Infantry, and Aviators, and Medics, and Artillery. I can still upload a ready-box and fire a 25mm. It's been a minute, but It'll come back to me. You don't forget that type of shit ... not ever.
We all remember where the motor pools and fuel points are. I'm pretty sure if some fucking NATO fags were here in the US in force somewhere, we'd be able to commandeer some Apaches and Abrahms and Bradleys pretty quick. For those who think guys wouldn't do it ... go find a tanker and ask him if he would pass on the chance to put rounds on target just one last time. Watch his entire demeanor change in an instant.
