Interesting. My daughter is going to have to be tested weekly at the University because she is unvaccinated. I am racking my brain trying to figure out a way around it. She has already claimed a religious exemption and I am looking at other options regarding this testing. I wonder if this would apply for her? Thoughts?
I work at a university, so I'm going through the same process. They haven't asked about vaccination yet, and also don't provide a resource anywhere that I can find to ask for an exemption (making it extremely difficult to go about this without "outing" yourself). I've got a ton of exemption-backing info and reasons to avoid the jab, but the tests are another matter entirely.
All I can really point to right now is that anything EUA cannot be mandated, and that's what these tests fall under. Every single one of them. And under OSHA 1970 Section 11(c), you may be protected from retaliation if you suspect serious harm could come to you for undergoing the medical treatment. There are reports of people injured after the nasal swab "tests", so maybe try that? Universities are notoriously bull-headed about this stuff, however, and might not care at all. Regardless of liability.
Thanks for your reply. We tried to claim the religious exemption for the mask and the testing but it was denied. I’ve got a call into an attorney‘s office but haven’t heard back yet. So we shall see…
Good find, not a 1-to-1 comparable but I would think any honest judge would have to see the covid vax as a reduction in genetic predisposition, thereby any actions against an non-vaxed individual would be due to their relatively increased predisposition. (not saying I believe their covid lies, but a way to use their weapons against themselves...in reality the vax just makes one more predisposed to complications via ADE)
the problem is that they flat out dont care. and nobody is seemingly stopping them from doing this.
A nasal swab is as good as a cheek swab to capture DNA.
what does covid testing how to do with genetic conditions?
Ah that is interesting!

Interdasting.
