I'm happy to take horse medicines that horseowners give to their million dollar horses, because I have more confidence in their safety and efficacy. I took 2/3 of my recommended by weight dosage of my first horse ivermectin a few hours ago. I took the partial dose because 1. it is my first time with it and 2. I'm not sick, unless I have unknown parasites.
Mine is Eqvalan brand and it has a plastic collar on the threaded end of the plunger, which is calibrated in kilos. https://files.catbox.moe/2e2twm.jpg
You dont need to measure anything. Get the "paste" (gel) and its plunger has a locking nut on plunger. Just set it close to your bodyweight. It has 50 lb increments. Simple.
If its duvet brand it has a plunger with notches. If not the it's the size divided into the lbs it treats. So ounces divided into 1200lb horse. You arent taking a whole tube at once.

Yep I took some too and didnt die.
What do you use to measure it out and where did you find a conversion on how much? Curious for own purposes.
.6mg/kg is the dosage.
That high? I thought they reccomend .2mg as prevention and .4mg for 5 days in a row if you are sick. But either way .6mg is still safe.

Got it, thanks!
That's not the optimal dosage strategy.
It's been listed on here a dozen times if you do a search. 1 notch per 50lbs
Sorry wasn't aware. 1 notch...ok. Didnt know squeeze tubes had notches.
