Everything we know about the human species tells us that we are (a) a social species that needs interaction with others; (b) our communication skills are only party verbal and depend on non-verbal cues like body language and facial expressions; and (c) that free expression of our thoughts and opinions make us healthier mentally. Regimes that have tried to control these things (Soviet Union, China, N. Korea, Cuba) have created a mostly insane population.
What if all the covid hysteria -- mask mandates to hide our non-verbal communication, isolation to further subdue our communication and the need for human interaction, and suppression of dissenting views -- is to tear apart the very fabric of human existence?
What if these measures are designed to strip us of our basic human nature and create an insane, stupefied population that is bereft of basic humanity toward each other? If this is so, who could be pulling these strings, and WHY?
Absolutely correct. It is strangely liberating to socialize, dine out in public, go to my gym, and live my life without a mask on. Around here (east Tennessee) more and more people are refusing to wear masks; but then again, our great Governor, Bill Lee, won't mandate them. The few remaining businesses that require masks, I just don't patronize them and their businesses can fail for all I care.
I wore a mask, reluctantly, when my asshat governness "mandated" them the first time so I am speaking partly from personal experience. There I was, walking around with a mask on just so I would not hear any shit from the mask zombies, mentally cursing their existence - all while I was acting just like them.
Our governness mandated the masks again starting three weeks ago and I have not worn a mask anywhere - I was confronted a couple of times by the dumbass Walmart door greeter to which I just tell them I have a medical exemption - I'm not even lying about that either - the "Mandate" clearly states the exemption as being "If an individual has been advised against wearing one by their health care provider". The mandate does not define "Health care provider". I provide the vast majority of my own health care - I choose what food I eat, what medication I will allow my body to consume and I am in charge of literally every life-style choice I make that will have an impact on my health. I AM MY PRIMARY HEALTH CARE PROVIDER - we all are. Not a single customer has said squat to me - many have taken their masks off though.
Brilliant!
Great idea - especially for anyone that already has some letters attached to their name and a health care license of some kind.
