I had a really bad ear infection in May. After 3 days, when it didnt subside, I used Frontline Doctors. The infection started on Monday. and on Wednesday morning I filled out the paperwork. I wasnt contacted by the doc until Thursday morning but he quickly prescribed HCQ, Zinc and azithromycin and sent it to the Pharmacy.
This Pharmacy is about 25 minutes from my house. The prescription was received on Thursday, wasnt filled until Monday and wasnt shipped until Tuesday. I didnt get the drugs until Friday.
So it took 9 days from paperwork to first dose. I dont know if my experience was an outlier, but Id be aware of the possibility that it takes time to reach you.
I was in excruciating pain for 2 weeks, longest ear infection in history I bet. My ear infection improved with the first dose of the protocol. After 3 days almost all the symptoms were gone.
That sucks. My kids doctor told me that every ear infection leaves a little scarring on the ear drum. For that reason, I bought some backup natural remedies like garlic oil to help keep it at bay until I get the prescription.
The garlic mitigates the infection which, in turn, lowers the risk of the scarring.
I do one ear at a time and lay down to let gravity get the oil into my ear while holding a Kleenex. It will slowly seep out for a while after that. Whatever you do, don’t wear a white shirt after doing it.
Thank you! One more quick question: Do you infuse the oil with raw garlic or do you let it cook together for a bit before cooling it down and then putting it in your ear? Sorry for all the questions, it's just that I didn't know ear infections can scar the ear drum and I'm worried if my kid ever gets one (God forbid).
So I've seen someone mention that they didn't request a phone call from a dr and got the px w/o that(the call) and received the meds very quickly. So I guess there is a way to request the meds w/o speaking with a dr on the phone. Not sure as I went to fill out the form but wasn't ready to take a pic of my id and myself so I put it off.

I had the same experience. About 3 days total.

Curious- I’ve heard to put raw garlic in the ears before. How do you use garlic oil?
Juice the garlic or crush it and mix it with olive oil. Or you can purchase it.

Pro tip- great on salads too!😉
Do you put the oil in your ears- or just consume it? I love raw garlic. Anytime I’m chopping some I always eat some too. And thanks!
just curious, does the garlic oil prevent the scarring? And do you put like a cotton ball or something to stop the oil from leaking out?
