Absolutely. But if it's to wake up the military and the mind wipes, and 7 buses of American women were turned away at the gate and left to be murdered by the Taliban as alleged, then that's not good enough. I think it's just the State ensuring CCP dominance of the region, callous disregard for our allies and our citizens, and a warning from the State and CCP to potential American allies not to trust USA. But that's obviously speculation. I don't think many here have come up with how it all fits into the good guy's strategy.
