It is easy for people far removed from the situation to speculate on what someone should or should not do based on the limited information available. People like this dept director and deputy director are somewhat in the belly of the beast. The game is dangerous and let's be clear, there is no protection for whistleblowers. They know all too well what can happen to anyone that speaks out. A whistleblower or someone they care about ends up in a house fire, a flaming car accident, or suicided out of a 10 story building or bullet to the head for daring to speak out against the drug cabal. The body count list for such brave individuals that dared to confront big pharma and the globalist agenda is a long one. This crowd has managed to get to individuals with the financial means to buy all kinds of private security. How much protection are these two people going to have - or any other government worker for that matter?
Given the timing of all this, I wonder if they may have actually been forced to resign. There is a house cleaning taking place all over DC that involves grey hats. Those not completely onboard with the program are being purged. No one in any kind of power position is not going to be allowed to just keep their heads down and go along to get along. Recent events are forcing them off the fence. If that is the case, it does give me some hope that there may still be some good people within governmental ranks. If the opposite is true, and they have been given a golden parachute for ramming this license application through, it is not a surprise. If they were being forced out, as much as I would like for them to come forward with the truthful reasons why they are leaving, I do not hold anything against those that don't. For them, it may be a bridge too far.
Interesting. I wish we had more visibility into this.
If one of these folks goes on record that would be a big deal.
The sad part about any of them going public is the same it has been for anyone doing the same - we are the only ones listening. The MSM will not cover it the same as they are not covering all the rest of the insiders that have stepped forward to only have their careers ruined and their reputations smeared - some have even had their bios changed on the internet. Like I said, I don't hold it against any one of them for not being more publicly vocal about what they were involved in. Where would they go and who would they tell? Once a bomb like that is detonated it is difficult to control the fallout.
I think you're correct about the "house cleaning." It looks like Gruber may have been taken off the "sprint" to get Pfizer approved back in July:

Thanks for the link. It seems like Gruber and her associate were shoved to the side some time ago. Possibly they don't want to be involved when the crap finally hits the fan. Even a well trained swamp rat knows when it is time to abandon ship.
From what I can gather from experts familiar with the approval process, none of this has followed normal FDA licensing approval regulations. Peter Marks has been overseeing this farce licensing application approval from the beginning and Gruber may have had little input. Whatever her contributions on this application, it was probably ignored and she was overruled. If she was not allowed to do her job, why bother. Marks is now acting director of Gruber's office. Therefore, his title matches what he has been doing all along.
Having worked in public health, this kind of practice is not unusual. I worked for the VA doing research. I also had worked for the US Public Health Services. There would be individuals that would call the shots from behind the scenes while someone else was given the official title of an office as department head. There was a hidden command structure in the facility that did not necessarily match what was presented as their leadership hierarchy.
There could be any number of reasons why the person behind the curtain is not given the official job title. For example: The medical director of the medical center had a brother that also worked in the same facility. According to the Department of Veteran's Affairs, their employment rules state that the other brother cannot be recognized as a department head in the same facility run by his brother, the medical director. No problem. They just place someone else officially in the position to look good on paper while behind the scenes, the untitled brother pulls the strings and is in charge. It is the perfect cover - all the authority without any of the liability when the fertilizer hits the fan. The person with the department head title may or may not be fully aware they are not the one really in charge - especially when they are put in charge of a department where they have little to no expertise. Yes, I witnessed this very scenario. It would take about a year or two while this newbie got their land legs and finally put all the pieces together. They came to the realization that it was their asteroids that would be hung out to dry if anything went wrong. They resigned the position and then a new search would begin to find a next patsy - rinse and repeat. I witnessed this turnover three times during my tenure at one VA medical center.
I wonder if this may be the scenario that is occurring in this situation. It would not surprise me.
