I always thought that courts martial were only for misconduct by members of the military. Does it also refer to any trial of enemy combatants and domestic treason done by a military court?
Before I answer that very good non-fiction question, think about this odd bit of courts martial trivia in fiction:

"What if China, Russia, and others are coordinating w/ POTUS to eliminate the NWO?"

Beijing Diary by Charlton Heston copyright 1990 - this hardcover book with dustjacket is in very good condition. There is no writing nor torn or missing pages -- the dustjacket is also in excellent condition in protective cover ............
SIGNED on 2nd page "To Dawn Charlton Heston"
Assisted by photos and a preface by his wife, the film star recounts his experiences directing The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial at the People's Art Theater in China in 1988. Heston, whose politics are no secret, was invited by the People's Republic during its most open period, prior to the confrontation in Tiananmen Square. He offers perceptive, intriguing comments on the difficulty of mounting a Chinese-language production and of interpreting a naturalistic drama for people steeped in a nonrealistic theater tradition.

Find it odd there is no mention of Heston producing The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial in China in 1988 on his wiki page.
At least the book gets mentioned... at the very end of the write up, just before the references section:

Robert Altman directing a made for TV movie?
In 1988?
Odd, its not listed in his filmography or bio write up on his wiki page.

Coincidence that the same time Charlton Heston is producing a Chinese version of the Caine Mutiny Court-Martial that Robert Altman's TV version is showing on American television.
What do we really know about what was happening in China the late 80's?

Reconcile.
Suggesting that Xi (among others, I'm sure) was being groomed for the coming war against the cabal? Or just an attempt to wake up China society generally? Perhaps Reagan did more than we give him credit for. The standard of living was considerably lower in China then, but intellectual freedom was less controlled, even if it was only for lack of today's Orwellian tools. Interesting idea. You've given me stuff to think about.
The Law of Armed Conflict / Criminal Law / Courts Martial

Perhaps the reason why SCOTUS refused to deal with the "election fraud" cases, is because they only have jurisdiction over criminal law? The attack on our election wasn't just an issue of "fraud" but were acts of terror and thus, would be deal with under the law of war e.g. military tribunals.
