Your phone isn't really off when you turn it off. It still sends data, unless you physically remove the battery which almost all modern phones don't allow you to do anymore.
You must be talking about those expensive iToys. Regular phones can have the batteries removed. I've done it countless times in order to buy new batteries for older friends who can't order online and were told by the phone company that they would have to buy a new phone.
So "almost all modern phones" do allow you to remove the battery.
What I'm saying is of course you can remove the battery by opening the phone, I've done so myself but with most smartphones you have to pry the phone open, many even require the screen to be removed just to get the battery out. It's not as easy as sliding down the back panel and it plopping out.
You just pop open the back. It's easy to do. It's actually easier than "sliding down the back panel" on a lot of other devices I have owned. I've never seen a phone that required removing the screen for anything.
What if they turn phone off? Oops, battery died, so that’s that!
yeah like phone fell down the toilet .... they can go to hell
Cops show up and arrest you for not having your phone on.
or just taking a nap.
Normie: "I fell asleep I'm sorry I'm sorry." Police: "Do you have a license for that nap, mate? No, off to re-education camp with you."
oi, you got a loicense for that landline m8?

You are correct, I saw a guy on tv that showed the tracking even when it’s off.
