It is an anti inflammatory. At the feed store I got a roll on for topical use, $6. My (er horse’s) pain went from a 6 to a 3 immediately. It works great for muscle and arthritis pain. It also is a great carrier for other topical medication especially something like diclofenac gel.

They use it for horses for injuries and sore muscles.
