Kek. No, actually Bernies platform wasn’t as bullshit back when he ran back then. Despite what it is now, his platform was similar to Trumps. He might have had a chance back then if Hillary didn’t cheat lmao
I couldn't believe my eyes as I watched all my fellow Ron Paul fans jump on the Bernie train. That's when I realized none of the people I was talking to actually understood the ideas they were supporting.
Trump and Bernie had diametrically opposed platforms, but they shared some very important traits: they talked to the American voters on their level about things that really mattered to them; they never condescended to them; and they both acknowledged that the middle and working classes had been all but destroyed.
While Hillary dismissed them as "a basket of deplorables," behaving like a privileged, elitist cunt.
When the people feel a politician actually cares about them and their well-being, that counts for a lot. Voters will support a candidate who understands their problems and concerns and wants to address them, even if they don't agree with his position on every issue.
No I don’t think they are similar anymore. Basically at first I think Bernie had good intentions. But he sold his soul without even a fight so he’s a fucking pussy. And no I don’t think their platforms were the same but they were similar in the sense that it was anti-establishment. But yes I was a Ron Paul guy too in 2012 lmao good call
Unfortunately Bernie’s platform is not Bernie’s policies.
All words, platitudes and promises for ‘real’ socialism … all the while he gets richer, and richer.
My take is Bernie has always been controlled opposition. A way for a candidate to run on a socialist platform without having Hillary do it.
It’s easy, have a candidate take an extreme stance to slowly move the moderate Dems a little more Left than they normally are, but it’s too much, too extreme so when Killary swoops in, they go “hey, wasn’t so bad after all!”
Read the other comments. They were similar on a macro level. Anti-establishment. In 2015. No longer is that the case. I don’t need to debate or do more research, I can assure you I do enough and fully support Trump and know what Bernie is about now.
That's great! A lot of pedes have had to be awakened from false idols and misunderstanding the difference between us and The Cabal lies. Glad to welcome you aboard! Keep trying and keep working and you'll start to see results.

You remind me of Ron Paul supporters is 2012... prolly because they all became Bernie Bros.
If you think Trump and Bernie have similar platforms... woooo-eeee
Not so fast my friend. Bernie is and was a pussy. I never aligned with that slouch. Ron Paul is the GodFather
Not all of us became Bernie bros
Yeah after Ron Paul and 2012 I was completely “fuck politics” up until around 2018 when I realized how great of a job Trump was doing.
You n me boo.

And don't even get me started on what happened to libertarians

Nailed it. Say one thing and do another. Only way you can stay a politician for 40 years.
Bernie and Trump had similar platforms? That's an interesting take.
May I encourage you to keep up your research? Maybe even amp it up a bit....
