Might be shipping hand me down equipment to National Guard Units. The current DOD plans for reorganizing the Military branches involve moving some units into reserve formations and disbanding others. The Marines for instance have both their Tank Divisions on the chopping block.

Supposing the plans are going ahead. There’s going to be a lot of surplus being transferred and equipment moving around.

Yeah looking at how the shadows fall they were heading west.

However I don't know which track they would be on there are a few going east to west

Yeah they are, here in ND we have nuclear warheads, two large air force bases, as well as Camp Grafton.
