Or the mask bullshit during the ~~Spanish~~ Chinese Flu, lobotomies, locking women up in sanitariums for marital disagreements, etc etc.

I saw a little bit of that Frontline? show about mental hospitals; pretty chilling! Giving feisty women lobotomies, so they would be nice, calm, obedient wives, was one of the most ridiculous/horrible things I have ever heard of!
