My guess: the hecklers got their heckling on video for their own uses and they thanked Biden for being there otherwise they wouldn’t have the video.

Biden, not detecting any sarcasm, went on to tell his rally of 15 viewers (probably all press) his tale of uniting the country.

My guess: Biden is a liar.

My second guess: Biden doesn’t remember at all and is just saying what he is told to say.
