B-I-L of some friends of ours in the States died yesterday of blood clots after getting jabbed. His wife passed several years ago from cancer, and now their children have no parents. This (fortunately) is the closest it’s hit home for us so far, but with the numbers of people known to us who’ve been jabbed I’m afraid we have some heartbreaking losses coming our way in the future.
That being said I was wondering what others are doing to protect themselves in regards to those people we are invariably coming into contact with who’ve been “fully vaccinated” and could be shedding the virus. I was at chiropractor and doctor yesterday, and will need 4 outpatient treatments at the hospital over the next month. I know this stupid mask they make me wear does nothing, but I imagine 99-100% of people I’m coming into contact with in these environments have been jabbed. I purchased Zinc, Vit D3, Vit C and Quercetin (no sources here for Ivermectin) and know how much to take. What I don’t know is if I should take now as a possible protection, or only if I begin experiencing symptoms? I also have N.A.C. supplements but am not sure under what circumstances to take them. Any thoughts or experiences you can share with me? TIA, Frens!
I take all you take and NAC daily to keep from getting sick.
Thanks
Would you explain why you take the NAC? I've heard it bandied about but don't know what people are taking it for. Thanks.

Okay, thanks.

Thank you so much! I got something unexpected out of this link - it says it may help to decrease symptoms of withdrawal for those with addictions, and help prevent relapse. Also helpful for bipolar and other mental health disorders - all of which are issues my son is currently struggling with. So thank you. This went well beyond COVID support and I really appreciate it.
Thank you! This one was even more helpful because it was geared toward the lay person. Good info. I really appreciate it, fren.
Same stuff needs to be taken as protection as well, just in smaller doses. At the onset of flue-like symptoms, start taking the recommended dosage asap.

Might help in case you get covid
Well he said no Ivermectin source so I guess he's in the EU
Thanks. Can’t get Ivermectin at all here - even the horse paste - but good resource for others who can. Appreciate it.
Thanks!
I believe Dr. Zelenko has people taking that now, before they get sick. Personally, I wouldn't wait. The idea is for it to be a prophylaxis. I too would like info on NAC.
What was surprising to me the the prophylactic benefit of Nicotine. I probably would not recommend nicotine addiction keep from catching covid, but if you already Vape, it's probably not a good time to quite, is my thinking.
Daily active smokers are infrequent among outpatients or hospitalized patients with COVID-19. Several arguments suggest that nicotine is responsible for this protective effect via the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR).

Another one is straight out of the dairy case: Kefir
Yes, I've heard about nicotine and also found that interesting. I have not heard about kefir, so thanks for that!
You know, in my 65 years of life, I never even heard the word Kefir. I was wondering if that is a Yankee word, and we call it something different down south.
If you live in the south, you know Publix. They sell it. Over in the dairy area.

I’d never even heard of Kefir! Thank you. I’m going to try to find it.
One more thing to consider. When taking zinc you may need to take copper supplement. 1 mg copper for every 15 mg zinc. I take 30 mg zinc daily and 3 mg copper every other day. See article below https://www.thorne.com/take-5-daily/article/supplementing-with-zinc-and-copper-a-balancing-act
Thanks
Really good link, particularly the info on Ivermectin per body weight.

Thank you!
I have all those on hand but I don't take anything on a regular basis. I have had Covid so I should have immunity to some extent, and the original infection was not that hard on me.
I'm not around a lot of people most of the time, but even when I am I don't take the preventative doses.
If you have some condition that might make the disease extra dangerous for you you should consider taking the preventatives all the time. If not I don't see the need.
Thank you!
Thank you!
Thank you
Ok, thanks much!!
Thanks 😊
Thank you. Always helpful.
