Jonathan Newell is a judge of the Second Judicial Circuit in Maryland. He was appointed by Republican Governor Larry Hogan on July 1, 2016, to replace Judge Karen A. Murphy Jensen.[1]

Went thru MD once....that was enough. Traffic was awful.

Newell was supposed to be on the bench until 2033, so it seems he took out the trash (himself) before he did too much, at least in this position. I haven't found anything substantial about his rulings as yet; he might have been an okay judge.
