Mail a copy "certified return receipt requested" from the post office. This way you will get a green card sent back to you showing who signed for it. I would also cc this to all teachers, school board and superintendent send each a copy, hell I'd hand deliver those..
Go to the post office and tell the person at the counter what it is you want to do. They will show you what forms you will need and how to fill them out. It's easy and it will give you the proof you will need to show that they received your letter. Heaven forbid, if they go against your wishes, you can nail them with this proof. It will cost you a little extra for the signature, but it will be well worth it. Not only that, but they will be signing for the letter before they know what it is. Once they read your letter, it should put the fear of God in them knowing you have this proof.
Huge delay between you posting this and my reply, but I wanted to thank you regardless. I'm cataloging quite a few examples like this and working on my own project for the greater good.
Thanks! It did actually. They didn't capitulate but, they recognized my rights as a parent and agreed to my terms. That's not to say they won't stick to them - I trust nobody with my child and will yank her out if school the moment I get nervous with zero hesitation. But, the response is the best I can hope for in 2021.
Just homeschool. Even aside from the covid crap, the curriculum they push is crazy as hell
This
People are concerned about masks and vaccines and whatnot, but they should be concerned about what's being taught
Those things aren't mentioned and they already have proof of vaccine for those things?
Yeah, they'll put it in the file and did whatever they do. If absolutely forced to and they can't find any other excuse, they may say "sorry."
If you think they'll inject them without consent, don't mess around. Find someplace else or homeschool.
Thank you for sharing. I’m sure our philosophical waiver in Michigan doesn’t cover COVID jabs
Send it registered mail and require them to sign for the letter. That will be your proof that they received it.
Certified require signature, no? I am going to ask tomorrow when I go in for the one that is a signature one - I don't really know what the name is.
It will say 'Hedley Lamar, mayor of Rock RIdge, Nevada'
