The number involved in the dispute with the Pentagon amounts to as many as a quarter or more of all active-duty SEALs, a loss that could impact military readiness since SEAL teams play an outsized role in modern military operations...
"If they continue to with this asinine policy you are going to have the complete decimation of the SEAL teams."...
The SEALS are not anti-vaccine; in fact, they get all sorts of shots. They just believe more safety data needs to be available to make their own judgment. And some already have immunity from surviving the disease...
Who would have thought that China Joe's policies would wipe out our SEAL teams❓...
Correct---we Swear to obey and uphold the US Constitution. Everything is secondary to that, including the President and those officers appointed over us.
It is worded purposefully: Constituion, President, Officers. We obey in reverse order, so long as those orders to not conflict with the US Constitution.
As the reigning idiot has gone beyond his Constitutional power to unlawfully mandate an experiment upon the U.S. against the Constitutional authority given him, the Nuremberg Code, and many other state and federal laws, we will not comply.
Exactly, and thanks for your Service.
I took my Oath in 1973 and it never expires. We were schooled on those things then, everyone knew that if they did something stupid because some screwy second louie gave an illegal order it was our azz as well as his/hers if we complied.
A Troop has several paths to resolving most any conflict, both Official and unofficial. From the IG down thru the Judge Advocate or Base Commander's suggestion box to the First Shirt and Chaplain, not counting the NCO Club and senior NCOs... we used to know and trust each other to do the Right Thing.
We worked on nukes so it mattered more maybe but the concept is the same, the gravity the same, the level of serious devotion to Duty the same, or should be. It was not an uncommon thing for an Officer to demand something of one of us but we could not comply sometimes because even tho he probably had the proper clearances to know 'whatever' or get some tasking ordered he would not be known to us as having Need to Know, or the authority to interrupt whatever we were doing. So we had no option but to say sorry, would you speak to my superior in my chain of command.
We had classes and briefings on all of that, UCMJ and such. No one was going to blindly follow illegal orders if they were honest Troops.
'From enemies foreign and domestic'. That means exactly what we think it does, our Oaths never expire.
Pray for Humanity.
