Saint Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, oh prince of the heavenly spirit, by the power of God, cast into hell satan and all the evil spirits who roam the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen
Except these traditions came from Jesus, then went through Peter, down the line, etc. But it's useless talking to another anti-Catholic. I always get the same protestant type of replies. So how 'bout this? Stop harassing us and we won't bother you either (and to be honest we haven't, YOUR side is the one always starting fights). How 'bout that?
Don't mind those haters. Christians are taught to hate Catholics. Its that 'once saved always saved" thing so once they are born again they can steal, kill, commit adultery whatever because they were already 'saved'. Only the Catholics can say their church was started by Jesus. The other denominations were started by a mere human who thought he knew better than Jesus.....like these critics.
Thanks fren, I love how they're so "tolerant" and "Christian" that they then attack others for their very similar faith, but apparently not similar enough. These people disgust me and their "arguments" are so old and tired, they've been spouting them for 500 years.
No you're being told that those traditions came from Jesus and we're passed down. But the Catholic Church hasn't been consistent and it's taught a wide variety of things over the years and constantly changes position.
How do you qualify that exactly?
Why would your standard not be God's word? Why would you rely on the traditions of men?
