I have Heart Failure but mine is an electrical issue (my arteries are not blocked). When the COVID started my doctors were telling me not to leave the house because I'm high risk. Of course this makes sense. So imagine my surprise when my husband was POSITIVE for COVID and I contacted them to get Prophylactic meds and the answer was NO. I was shocked. Four days later I contracted COVID and spent the next 2 weeks recovering. It was a very bad flu, I've been that sick before but never lost my sense of taste and smell. That lasted 2 months and I still have brain fog, fatigue and hair loss, yikes! But I feel like a Warrior since I survived. This may sound crazy but I'm glad I already got it. Now I feel safe going out and carrying on. And most importantly I have natural immunity. If I'd not already had it I would not get vaccinated. I've gotten a flu shot for years but never again. I don't trust them, not after this past few years.
Don’t get the vaccine if you have heart issues. As a matter of fact your PMD should excuse it for that medical reason alone.
